Big roofs, open stores.
Large open roofs with rooftop units over sales floors. Plan roof work across stores without closing them.

Planning priorities
Does each store roof need a tear-off?
See how we assess a flat roof, repair the wet areas, and apply a seamless roof coating, and when we tell you a roof really needs replacing.

If you manage a commercial or industrial flat roof, you know the routine. A leak shows up, someone patches it, and a few months later, it's back.
Meanwhile, water works into the insulation. Every season you wait, the repair gets bigger, and that replacement quote gets harder to avoid.
But a lot of flat roofs don't need a tear-off. Here's how we approach it.
First, we assess the roof and give you a written report.
Next, we cut out and repair the wet and damaged areas.
Then we clean the surface and apply a seamless roof coating. It cures into one continuous membrane and seals the seams where many leaks start.
Your existing roof stays in place, so there's less mess and less disruption inside. Eligible projects come with warranty options in writing.
And if your roof really does need replacing, we'll tell you.

Decide building by building.
An assessment checks condition, drainage, moisture, and previous repairs. A roof that is mostly dry and will take a coating is a restoration candidate. A roof at the end of its life gets a replacement recommendation.
Uniflex, one of the systems RC Coatings installs, offers 10, 15, and 20-year labor and materials warranties, subject to the written warranty terms.
Run the numbers with the restoration vs. replacement estimator and the 30-year lifecycle planner. For cool-roof and waste reporting, see energy and sustainability.

Questions
Do stores need to close?+
We plan around store hours and customer areas. What will be affected is agreed before work starts.
Can a white coating lower cooling costs?+
Reflective roofs stay cooler, and federal agencies report reduced air-conditioning use. Savings depend on climate, insulation, and the building, so model your stores with the DOE Cool Roof Calculator linked on our energy page.
How do you handle many stores?+
Book the first store and list the others. Each roof gets its own findings and plan.
Book a multi-site roof assessment
Book the first building on our scheduling page. List the other sites in the notes field and we will plan the walk order with you. Questions? Call (801) 515-3812.
