Curb-and-cove restoration during active production
The first phase of a six-section restoration program rebuilt deteriorated wall-to-floor transitions around fixed stainless equipment and operating production areas.

The challenge
The existing curb and cove had deteriorated, leaving wall-to-floor transitions that were difficult to clean and vulnerable to continued failure. Fixed stainless equipment and adjacent production limited how preparation and reconstruction could be carried out.
The work
RC Coatings sequenced the first phase around the operating areas and equipment. Controlled, low-dust preparation methods were selected to protect the working environment and minimize disruption to adjacent production. The failed section was prepared and rebuilt into a continuous, cleanable transition.
The result
Phase 1 was completed during active production. It forms part of a broader six-section program covering thousands of linear feet of transitions; the broader program is not represented here as completed work.
